I opened Jessica’s Bake Shop in 2015 after graduating from Texas State University. I moved back home to Dallas and started the Bake Shop right out of my own kitchen. I grew up baking for friends and family, but had no idea my little side-hustle would turn into a business. Thank you for all of your business and support through the years!
While I design & decorate your cookies, Laura is the one rolling the dough! Literally, she bakes all of our sugar cookies! She's the reason I have a passion for baking and also the one who taught me that it's okay to eat cookie dough (don't judge)!
We love customizing treats specifically for you and your events. Our favorite thing about baking is the opportunity to help you celebrate the fun things in life. We guarantee it will be “love at first cookie”!
Do you ship?
No, we do not ship. If you're local, you can order and ship the cookies yourself though!
Do you bake for gluten-free, dairy-free, nut allergies, etc.?
Unfortunately we cannot accommodate allergies right now. We're sorry!
What ingredients are in your decorated sugar cookies?
Our sugar cookies contain butter, eggs, flour, sugar, vanilla and lemon extract. Our sugar cookie icing contains meringue powder, powdered sugar, lemon and almond extract.
How long do your decorated sugar cookies stay fresh?
If your cookies are heat sealed they'll be fresh a week or two. You can also freeze your cookies for several months. We recommend using a Ziplock and Tupperware.
Do you teach classes?
We do! You can submit an order form to schedule your class today! Our cookie classes are usually 1.5-2 hours long, $40 a person, and include 6 different designs. For private events, we require a minimum of 8 people.
In our class you will learn:
- the basics of making & baking sugar cookie dough & royal icing
- royal icing color mixing
- a variety of cookie decorating techniques
- you will also get a resource sheet with information on supplies & recipes
